The undersigned support the City of Edina hiring 12 additional paramedic firefighters in 2026. We ask that funding for the additional positions be kept in the final 2026 City budget, with the knowledge that, according to the city's Truth Taxation publication, 1.89% of the proposed property tax levy increase approved by the City Council in September 2025 is for the hiring of the new paramedic firefighters.
