The 2020 East Central graduation has been canceled and moved online. The seniors think this is unacceptable and not a solution, but another problem. We have worked hard for twelve years and deserve a final celebration, just like every other graduating class has received. There are other options. Other schools have moved their ceremony to the football field, restricted the number of guests, or rescheduled to a later date. We want to reopen the dialogue and find a better solution, like many other schools have done. Our families deserve to see us graduate. Our teachers deserve to see us graduate. We deserve a real graduation.
