By the formal definition, a puppy mill is a large-scale breeding operation that produces large numbers of puppies for profit. This definition does not even begin to describe the horror of what a puppy mill really is. In a puppy mill the dogs are not cared for properly. Most never see the light of day or know the love of a human. They do not get proper food or vet care. The dogs are bred over and over until they die. Most people do not even know that they are helping support animal cruelty by buying a puppy from the internet or pet store. These dogs live in filth and fear. 99% of puppies sold on the internet or in pet stores are from a puppy mill. Please help me tell EBay and Oodle to STOP supporting animal cruelty by letting people sell puppy mill dogs on their site.
