Eating meatless meals will help improve your health and benefit the environment!  It is a well known scientific fact that most chronic diseases are rooted in poor nutritional habits.  Eating more plant-based foods is an important practice in disease prevention. Additionally, eating plant-based foods will improve the environment.  According to information on the website (see, "If every American skipped one meal of chicken per week and substituted vegetarian foods instead, the carbon dioxide savings would be the same as taking more than a half-million cars off U.S. roads."
