Earlier today, I was in the K200s Male Bathroom. I was 1 of the stalls doing my business. The lock on the door is broken. The door was cracked 1/3 of the way open. I felt very exposed. The other stall was dirtied and had no toilet paper so I had to use this one. I would of gone to another bathroom, but Easton has made new hall specific hall passes so I had to stay in my hall. 

During the few minutes I was in that stall, I had 2 people walk in on me doing my business. It leaves me and the other person awkwardly embarrassed. This wasn’t even in a busy hallway or period. Think of how much worse this would be if it WAS during a busy period or area. This is probably the 10th time or so that this specific thing has happened to me. I am SO exhausted of having to worry about this. I am in there just to do my business and have a few seconds to breathe from the stress of the school day. Why should I have to feel more stress in the bathroom? 

Recently, Easton Area School District has been spending millions to redo the field hockey field and in a bit, Cottingham Stadium. If Easton has the money to spend on redoing fields for Sports, shouldn’t they have, at least, the money to fix the locks on the bathroom stalls? I am not asking that the bathrooms be redone, even though that would be very helpful. Not all of the stalls are broken and not all of the bathrooms are broken, but the ones that are still matter. At the very least, Easton, please hire someone to or fix the bathroom stall locks yourself. Either way, get it done.
