Auchinairn Community Centre is the centre hub for Auchinairn Community. This Centre has been opened during lockdown as a main hub, where they were accommodating a nursery hub for front line workers.
This Community centre is now re open for the local nursery facility, which education has put all safety measures in place for the public to enter these facilities with their families attending nursery. 
As this centre is not a just a nursery facility it’s a community centre for the community to use, which volunteers run all these services, free of charge,  they do 5 days a week, to accommodate the community. This is a meeting place where families go every day, attending parent & toddler groups, art classes, fitness, arts, sports, baby clinics, yoga, our local community group for families run every day after school which is a FREE service to our local families, which is a great support & network for these families. East Dunbartonshire Council have been chased by volunteers and local councillor with in the community since June, to use outdoor space As their community garden has now being ruined, as had no access, money wasted of vegetables etc,  now been chasing for indoor use, they have given no updates & no dates? It’s a disgrace as EDC are not putting the community first! this is a big effect on our community, which will lead to an increase in mental health issues within our community. 

please sign our petition in support our community to open their community hub, as it’s been far too long, there is no reason why the community are no allowed back in to their community centre.
