STOP KRPC AND NNPC FROM DUMPING TOXIC WASTE IN RIDO COMMUNITY AS IT IS KILLING MANY INNOCENTS AND PROVIDE A SETTLEMENT FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THE WASTE DUMPING!

The Issue

In a small and rural village called Rido in Northern Nigeria, the Kaduna Refining Petrochemical Community and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has been for a number of years now dumping toxic waste. This dumping has completely ruined this village. Many women have had miscarriages as a result of this. Families have lost loved ones, including small children who play around the dump and end up dead. The ones that inhale the smoke of he waste have been left very sick with severe vomiting and diarrhoea and bloated stomachs. They have no roads, no hospital, no electricity and no chance of escaping this waste dumping. Those that had a small business in the form of selling livestock have lost ALL their animals and they literally have been wiped out by this waste dumping. They are now at a dead end with no way of escaping this horrible situation. Unless people stand together and work to prevent waste dumping's like these, they will continue, and they will ruin lives as they do. The KRPC and NNPC will not stop dumping toxic waste in this community unless they realize that people know that they are blatantly killing innocents and ruining their community. Please help us bring attention to this cause, as we are currently suing the KRPC and NNPC to STOP dumping toxic waste in this community and to provide those that have been affected by the waste dumping with a settlement! The NNPC AND KRPC are trying to deny they have done anything wrong but they really need to be stopped. We have sued them to stop dumping toxic waste ad provide a settlement but they deny it and they will continue to ruin the Rido Community if they are not stopped. PLEASE help us put a stop to this and bring some attention to this issue! PLEASE! IT WILL SAVE LIVES! Thankyou.
