Need for Speed Underground 2 is arguably the best racing game ever created. The cars, physics, gameplay, music, sound effects, graphics (for the time), and even the storyline (which seems to be the main focus of most racing games today, instead of actual racing) were all perfect, and the game still holds up even in today’s gaming world. 

This petition is to get the attention of EA Games to release a remastered version of this great game. We need to be able to play this game today on our PS4/PS5 and other modern gaming systems. We DO NOT want added story line, different race tracks, added modes, added cars, added upgrades, or ANYTHING different. We ONLY want updated graphics and compatibility. The ONLY exception we would like to see; change the acceleration from the X button to the R2 button for PlayStation gameplay. Added music tracks are acceptable ONLY if the original soundtrack is kept as well. 

NFS Underground 2 has a great following and is a “cult classic”. Let’s get it introduced to a whole new generation of gamers who never got to experience it. Modern racing games, of which there seem to be countless, just can’t compare to this timeless classic. Join me in signing this petition so I can get it to EA. I’d be willing to pay as much for this remaster as I do for brand new games. How many of you agree?
