The Latest ad for Knockout City showcased in the Nintendo Direct, Introduced a cast of Diverse and Charismatic Characters based on different Video Game Genres. From the slightly goofy and timid Lt. Alex based on games like Rainbow Six Siege, to the spunky Princess Charm based on games like Mario, to the lovable and, frankly complete idiot Gorgon based on games like World of Warcraft.

Along with some other great characters, like max, who is based on the madden side of games, they now have a cast of characters that interact with each other in a funny and charming way, based on different types of videos, each animated with their own style... and they decided the best use of these characters is to advertise a generic, fortnite looking dodgeball game where they aren't even in the game. Why let all that character go to waste?! People instantly fell in love with Princess Charm and I love Lt. Alex, and they are ONLY gonna be used for an advertisement?!

I feel like we would love a game with these characters interacting with each other, they would each be animated with their own style, with each character having special abilities based on their style, Princess Charm would attack with her cartoony steel toed army boot, and her special attacks would each be pixelated and goofy, while Lt. Alex would play like a shooter, with his special attacks being real guns, like a minigun or an airstrike, ect. Ect.

I feel like I'm not alone when it comes to this, it would be a real shame for them to JUST be used in an Advertisement and then never used again.
