Pro Club Friendlies is the only way to play against other specific clubs competitively.

To help assist FIFA Pro Club communities, FIFA 18 should record match data for these matches which would allow us to easily confirm scores, statistics and prevent cheaters.

Match and Team statistics are currently recorded from both League and Cup matches, and the same should apply for friendlies, you can see the League and Cup match statistics on EA's website at https://www.easports.com/iframe/fifa17proclubs/XBOXONE/RC%20Football/match-history which is also linked to a back end API which provides more data on each match.

FIFA have openly revealed some of their eSports expansion plans for FIFA 18, but it seems they have forgotten about a huge side of their community which play 11v11 Pro Clubs competitively. Without the recording of friendly match data they're leaving the 11v11 competitive scene unstable and impractical, with the only option of recording statistics right now being through players taking screenshots of their statistics after the end of the match and manually entering them to community websites.
