I think I speak for a large portion of the Sims Community when I say that The Sims franchise has gone downhill since the Sims 3. The Sims 4 lacks in gameplay when compared to the older games. I have found myself get bored when playing The Sims 4, as it feels like an aesthetic game rather than an experience. The Sims 4 is also not as challenging as the others, as you can leave your game playing and your sims will still have jobs, maybe even have promoted, and your actions don't truly make much of a difference to their success.

This petition is to ask EA if they could create a separate team to focus on modernising The Sims 2, but including some Sims 3 features, such as the open-world. It isn't a petition for EA to stop what they're doing, just hire a team to advance The Sims 2 game so it's that little bit more modern.

Don't you miss developing the relationships between sims with the lure system? Feeling like you've made a difference with the special cut-scenes? Looking back on your sims' life with the memory system? Having fears? Having effective repercussions when your sims were in a low mood? Feeling like their traits make a difference?
