The gaming community is stuck in a time, where futuristic games are flooding the market. Most of AAA titles are now trying to minimize their effort with making fiction games which require minimal attention to detail.

Modern and future thematics have been done to death for the past 10 years, it's time we go back to fun era, when games were actually anticipated and had soul with fun story as opposed of todays "conveyer belt" system which feeds current generation of gamers with new titles every year and does next to no improvement (i think most of people know which title i refer to, and it's not Battlefield). But i have to admit and most people will agree with me that BF also got "kind of" boring with modern combat style.

It would be refreshing, to finally get a WW2 or Vietnam, Korean war after almost a decade of any decent game from that genre. Imagine fighting Japs on the side of USMC with Frostbite3 engine and all the destruction on the Pacific islands. Those who played on PS3 and XBOX 360 will remember that we got the taste of that in 2009 when Battlefield 1943 was released. Now i think most of you BF fans would agree, that this was one of the biggest financial successes of all time. A simple game, based on an engine of BFBC1 (frostbite 1) and stunning colors, produced a hype which lasts 'till this day.
Still when I log on my PSN and check BF1943, it's servers are full and alive. I remember how much fun i had playing it and i know I'm not alone. Hands down to the genious who thought of that simple but effective bargain which is up to this day a popular downloadable title for 10$...
Ordinary titles, such as BF3 ,BF 4 require time, which most of "normal" people just don' t have, so the other advantage is also quick play style where you can just jump in the game and leave whenever you wish..

Now imagine the game remastered with Frostbite 3 from BF4 and stunning graphics which are offered by the PC and current gen. Both sides would win. EA & DICE with another title to sell with much less amount of work and us gamers who are desperate for a new refreshing history themed title. Plus the timing is just right, since current gen has nothing but modern FPSs, so the competition  = NULL, but then again, who can even compete with DICE?

I have no doubt, that EA will listen to our voice and they probably have heard it already, how could they miss their forums "threaded" with fans wanting a WW2 title?

P.S for EA:

Please do not slap the PC community this time aswell, there is no way to pirate the game if it will be online only, so no reason to leave us out, right?

Anyways, thank You EA & DICE for being such a big part of our gaming world.
