Getting a Heirloom in Apex Legends is not easy, you either have to max out a certain event (when it's available, and that's a lot of money) or you have to be extremely lucky to get it before your guarenteed 500th pack! Now, i am a "half-free-to-play" player, meaning i only bought the Battle Pass and nothing else, because i just don't have enough spare money to spend it on more packs or other things. And i think, that a lot of people are in the same case as me. What i want to say is that as a full free to play player and even a Battle Pass buyer it's really almost impossible to get a Heirloom in the foreseeable future, you only earn (i think) 199 packs till you get to lvl 500, you can of course earn free packs from free and paid Battle Pass, but that's not even close to 500. I've been playing since the start of Season 1, and i am only at my ~200th pack. What i (and i think a lot of other people) want, is to add A Seperate Daily Challenge that earns you an Apex Pack every day! Make the Challenge hard, make it really hard like for example get 30 kills a single day or deal 6000 damage etc. but the point is that the OPTION would be there to get that free pack! By that, you could earn 365 packs a year, it would really help the free players! Thank you everybody who helps, have a nice day everybody!
