On March 15, 2023 Electronic Arts (EA) initiated a "server maintenance" update to Star Wars Battlefront 2015, across all platforms (Playstation, Xbox, and PC), that reset all in-game stats and progression to a date some time in early 2021.

In plain terms, this reset has resulted in ALL players/customers losing hard-earned access (either through in-game progression or through out-of-game purchases) to integral features of the game that were obtained post early 2021, such as Blasters, Star Cards, Hutt Contracts, and visual customization options.

In addition, the update has introduced a bug or new feature that prevents the in-game use of credits to purchase any items whatsoever, i.e., Charges, Blasters, Star Cards, Hutt Contracts, and visual customization options such as characters, uniforms, and emotes. The inability to purchase these items anymore greatly affects the enjoyment of this game.

Although Star Wars Battlefront 2015 does not have the same player count as when it launched, there is still a large and substantial community of players worldwide who continue to enjoy and pay subscription fees to play this iconic game. 

This poorly executed update has the potential to drive away many players from the game, leaving them frustrated or worse, feeling cheated of their hard-earned money.

So while this update has greatly affected the fun of this classic game in the ways described above, the ability of EA to solve this problem in an expedited manner is thankfully not difficult. 

We therefore demand that EA take the necessary and immediate steps to fix this botched update NOW!

We demand that EA restore to the date that this disastrous update occurred:

               1) all in-game stats

               2) all progression earned or purchased

                   and

               3) the ability to use in-game credits to purchase items integral to                       the game

If EA values Star Wars Battlefront 2015 and its worldwide community, it will do the right thing in this instance.
