RE:  2013 Aprils Fool Day Prank

To whom this may concern;

My name is Dustin Salisbury I one of millions of people affected my Cerebral Palsy.  A limitation that does give me the full strength on the right side of my body. 

In the last few years I have really been getting into photography using my iPhone.  Taking photos of wherever I go and posting them on social media.  As the years go on I have been wanting take photography more serious and more professional, walking into various camera stores and looking what is available.  

I can not use a regular DSLR camera.  My right hand does not have the strength to change channels on a TV remote, open/close a car door let alone hold camera of any size or use the shutter button.  I have tried to use to a regular camera.  Rest the base on tripod and trying to reach over the lens to the shutter button with my left hand  is is impossible.  I have been asking around the industry trying to find left handed camera.  Whether it’s a digital camera or a DSLR. They don’t exist.  

Doing my research online I came across a Press Release from Canon Cameras in 2013 announcing a left-handed DSLR camera.  Reading the entire article, learning more about what features it will offer,  getting more and more excited that something like this actually is being released, purchase right way and I can grow my photography skills  

Than at  the bottom  of it all, I read the words that broke my spirits and my heart.   ‘April Fools Day’  Not only is this not a funny prank, it is just cruel.  Why would you do this?  Get hopes up, grow your market to the lefties.  I was really looking forward to this.  I would not recommend any Canon products to anyone for this mean prank.
