Hi folks I just checked the petition numbers and so pleased we are pushing up towards 500.  Not sure when the penny will drop with the Abbey and the Gate.  The Abbey has a new play Girl on an Altar coming up in the summer, 57 performances scheduled and No mid-week matinees, and this is despite Ghosts on Wednesday May 3rd virtually sold out, so individually why not mail them info@abbeytheatre.ie  just ask them why there is no midweek matinee scheduled after the huge success of Ghosts on Wed. May 3rd.    Likewise at the moment the Gate has The Price by Arthur Miller.   Again, No mid-week matinees,  It is madness they can only sell about 40% houses on say a Tuesday night but could fill the the theatre in the afternoon.  

So folks, if each person on this petition can get one other person to sign it we would fly past 500 and get on towards a thousan signatures, lets keep at them, the penny may drop. Share the petition but most importantly ask others to sign it!
