The Abbey theatre is having a midweek matinee of Ibsens Ghosts on Wednesday May 3rd, there are only a few tickets left, we told them a midweek matinee would sell and have been proven right

However: It is a profound disappointment  to see Girl on the Altar running for 7 weeks through July and August with 57 performances, the Abbey have once again reverted to type.  Not a single midweek matinee, in the height of our tourist season (and hey it does rain in July and August), once again letting down all of us who have gone and booked for the May 3rd mid-week matinee of Ghosts. 

Midweek matinees work so please email the Abbey boxoffice@abbeytheatre.ie open copy your email to Catherine Martin catherine.martin@oireachtas.ie  and simply ask them with the successful box office sales for the Wednesday May 3rd matinee of Ghosts why on earth aren't they having midweek matinees of Girl on the Altar, in fact of all future productions.

If we don't ask and keep on at them they will continue to ignore us!
