This petition is to get lights in our local skatepark in Fairview Park.

With the park been unlit it is very dangerous for anyone to use it when it gets dark and these winter nights coming in its dark at 4pm.

The playground beside the park has over 10 lights and it is rarley used, dispite the lights been switched on at dusk and left in throughout the night. While the skatepark, that has a high volume of people (both users and spectators alike) has no lights to show.

With the growing skateboarding community in Dublin and the popularity and positivity Fairview Skatepark has brought to the area it would be very beneficial to have the Skatepark lit up.

Even though Fairview is a small skatepark with not many obstacles but still it brings great joy, pleasure and security to a lot of people any level or age.

We have emailed and contacted Dublin City Council with little or no reply one reply even stated the skatepark has light already but this has never been the case.

If everyone could all sign this petition. It would help and bring a lot of enjoyment to a lot of good people
