Thanks to everyone who signed and shared this petition in the last week.
Dublin City Council have today started work on the Causeway road. They advise it's to install a cycle path but there is no mention of a footpath.
While this is good news, local councillors have not seen plans for the work which has started. We need to ensure the infrastructure installed is up to scratch, we know how poor the existing footpaths are, we can't accept a similar standard cycle lane.
Please contact your local councillor to ensure they keep the pressure on DCC to deliver good quality infrastructure while respecting the diverse and sensitive area that is the Biosphere.
