Laura Colwell started this petition to Dublin Bus and

At the moment in Ireland there is a Level 5 lockdown which has effected the whole country massively. One problem I have in particular is that there is not enough space on the bus for everyone that uses the bus. Most times it's normal for a bus to drive past every now and then but because of the restrictions being put in place the buses have been driving past like it's a joke. There is only a maximum capacity of 17 people allowed on the bus so this is a huge problem for many people.

Lockdown is very different than the first lockdown because schools are open and that is a lot of students wanting to get home. Recently I have been waiting at a bus stop and every bus that was supposed to stop, saw the amount of students that was there and just drove off without even letting a few people on. This is extremely frustrating as it's cold outside and we have to get home in good time.

The bus is a great way of getting to and from places but recently it has been absolute mayhem trying to even get the buses to stop. What I hope that would come out of this petition is that they will make more seats available for people who get the bus on a regular basis and that the bus drivers will have more consideration for the people waiting for so long. Especially for those who need to get a specific bus home.

I understand this is a hard time for everyone but this bus situation is ridiculous and I would really appreciate it if people could sign this. Please help me get this across to the government and Dublin Bus so that we can get home safely and quickly.
