I am an avid thrift store shopper at the SAVERS in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. They have only been opened for about a year now. I heard the store will be closing in April of 2017 and it has something to do with the Landlord. I am to assume it has something to do with higher rent maybe? It is my understanding that the Norristown store will be closing as well, in August 2017. I live in Horsham and Willow Grove is very convenient for me to shop. This thrift store is by far one of the best thrift stores in our area. They are constantly putting out new merchandise every single day as I frequent there very often. They have almost daily 50% off tag colored sale days, 30% off Tuesdays for seniors 55 and over and just recently the entire store was 50% off for President's Day. Their merchandise is by far the best for the quality and price. I cannot begin to mention the wonderful employees they have in that store. The whole idea of Savers is to reuse and/or recycle which means less waste in our landfills and it also helps with those of us who are suffering with a poor economy and cannot afford mall shopping. They also donate to non-profits. It will keep those individuals who work there with families employed and continue to create more jobs for others as the company grows through the years. There is no good reason why this store should close its doors. It is supporting our local community.
