The production company Ferguson Films has been ill treating its collegues and have been recieving nothing but a slap on the wrist for the countless immoral acts they have been doing.

By cancelling their telenovela "The Queen" that is on Mzansi Magic, it will send a clear message that there is no tolerance for ill treatment in the film and television industry in this country and it will put us in the right direction to ensuring that this industry is a better place to work in and maintain a comfortable living.

This is but one of the steps needed to prove that we are in solidarity with the victims of the clutches of Ferguson Films. This will be a gateway into including a better and more incredible environment for filmmakers in TV and Film and will serve as a lesson to the company that they are not above the people, and never will be.

my call to DStv, M-Net and Multichoice is to make a positive difference in the content that South Africans and Africans as a whole consume and watch, because to be completely honest there is a need for a drastic change in the prime time television state and there is a wide array of talent that could do this and knock it off the park, so if content is your concern, it shouldn't be because there are tons of filmmakers ready to fill these shoes and prove themselves time and again.

please hear the cries of creatives in the country and cancel The Queen as it's time is long overdue and the treatment the people who have worked and are working there circum is nothing anyone should be going through.
