Drive Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Support Research in Our City

The Issue

Cerebral Palsy (CP) affects approximately 764,000 individuals in the U.S, including adults and children, and an estimated 8,000 babies and infants are diagnosed with the condition each year (Stats provided by Cerebral Palsy Guide). Our city is part of this statistic, yet CP is rarely recognized or discussed in local health initiatives. Cerebral Palsy is not a disease and is not communicable – it is a condition that warrants our utmost attention and support for those suffering.

Awareness campaigns are an integral part of achieving this goal. Moreover, encouraging research on this front, within our city, can catalyze the discovery of improved treatment methods, and potentially, a cure. This can ensure a better standard of living and social acceptance for all those affected by CP.

Together, we can make a difference. A difference that imbues hope into hundreds of families within our city and sets an example for other cities to follow. Let's promote Cerebral Palsy awareness and drive research funds in our city. Sign this petition and let our united voice echo the need for this change.
