I and many others don't want this film series to be lost in obscurity or discarded like most film studio's or game publishers do with an IP

and selling off the franchise rights could be dangerous in the hands of the wrong studio's and the wrong people in charge 

and after a lot of studies, its apparent wizard is unfit to handle there own franchise sins the original script for sheep and wolves 2 was going to be great until all of its content was cut out in the end, a lot of new characters and locations where supposed to be introduced, Simon the fox, jack raccoon, the magic turtle lady, the coyotes and jackals and plenty of location were cut out of the first and second movie which made the script and characters created for such locations to be wasted, we have a teacher sheep character named Marivanna that was supposed to be seen giving teaching in a sheep school, that whole scene was cut to make room for the infamous grey falling montage, marivanna is then reduced to be a face in the crowd witch in itself is a waste of good character design and effort put in the writing, the sheep school was one of many locations grey needed to see and interact with to get a taste of the sheep's culture and way of living so he learns and changes his mind about the way he thought about sheep bifore, a lot of necessary charachter intereactions were cut as well between grey and the villigers, like ike ziko belgo bucho king louie lyra and others, he deversed atleast one more scene with magra or even the side kicks like skinny and hobbler 

well the sequel partly fixes the interactions we lacked in the first movie it also greatly mishandles some of them or flat-out pretends some of them don't exist, I am not a fan of Lyra's little brother Shia, but he did not deserve to be removed from the movies universe completely in the sequel, Magra and the responsibility plotline has bin removed from the recap, Lyra is reduced to be a nonspeaking background character, which is a big sin in my book, surely when you count she is the towns doctor with plenty of scenes where she could be helping the wounded at the training camp or the collapsed fortress, Simon or Simone who had this big story arc of a traveling con artist finding a weak spot in his heart for the villagers with his partner jack, is completely reduced to a character that just lays pipe during the whole movie,

the one who brings Jodie to the village, the one who is a really bad example of a red herring for ziko to mistake for a spy, considering that jack was supposed to be the red herring which makes sense for a shady looking scam artist raccoon... you wish the movie would not put a scrapped scene that works great in one thing but falls on its face in the other, she tells way to late in the story that Mami was kidnapped, she has a background story that's vaguely mentioned at the ending, that she was a warrior from a polar fox clan forced like the dark wolves into a role she was not happy with until she found flowers growing in the frozen tundra

already a great idea for a movie on its own or even a short

the turtle lady was going to be a potential villain sins she was the one mami stole her magic from

the coyotes also made for good villains, carnivores that use weapons like swords and boomerangs  

the pigs in the title a pigs deal

were wasted as well

so let DreamWorks take over the ship, there doing amazing work with there new animated screaming series like puss in boots, kipo, and others

they will surely improve and give these characters the development they so deservedly need
