As we know Schoology is the assignment system we're using for the 2020-2021 online school year, and it is swamped with problems.  Whether it be grading issues on assignments and tests, disappearing assignments, or confusing setups, we think that Schoology needs to go.

Students in and out of the Northshore School District are having issues with the program, no matter the age group.  Elementary kids may find it confusing to navigate through, difficult to understand, and may require more help than needed with other programs like Google Classroom.  As for middle school and high school students, Schoology is also a struggle for some of the same reasons, for example, missing assignments will disappear from the home screen under the "Overdue" tab, which isn't very helpful.  These students are also given more tests and quizzes, which also have their problems as well, including the low threshold for answer possibility.  Open ended questions are sometimes graded incorrectly (automatically) by the system, and it excludes misspellings and other errors from a chance to get the right answer.

Some other problems include the lack of spell check all throughout the website, especially when writing comments and responses for assignments, the lack of other file types supported by Schoology also makes it harder for students and teachers.  

These are just a few reasons and complaints of many about why us students think that Schoology needs to go.
