On 12th Oct 2019, there is a book ceremony at Lalitha  Kalavedika, Kurnool unveiling few book on Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu.

In one of the book titled- ‘Bahumukha Darshanikudu, Bahumukha thatvikudu - Pothuluri Veerabrahmam’ authored by Dr. MM Vinodini, Asst. Professor, Yogi Vemana University, Kurnool. Heartfully appreciate the work done by Dr. MM Vinodini and pen down about that great legend. However Dr. MM Vinodini made a controversial statement in the book stating that ‘POTHULURI VEERABRAHMAM BELONG TO VISWAKARMA BRAHMIN(aka VISWABRAHMIN) and VISWABRAHMIN CASTE BELONGS TO SUDRA SECT.  This is completely baseless statement written by Dr. MM Vinodini. Before writing this statement, it is not even verified with the authorities of Sri Brahmam gari Matham, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh as this place is regarded as the highest order of authority about Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu. Because Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu acquired Jeeva Samadhi in this place and is  a well know piligrimmage in India for those who has devotion towards Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu and Viswabrahmin community people across India. 
This statement insults Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu and downgrade his stature in the society. This has caused a great anguish among his disciples, devotees and all the people of Viswabrahmin community across India.

In Rig-Veda, it is clearly mentioned that Viswakarma bhagavan is the ultimate reality and his hierarchy brings a lot of knowledge and expertise in building the whole of universe. In the modern times as well judicial court permits that Viswabrahmin have all the authorities/ rights to perform the rituals in temples as equal to Brahmin caste.  There have been many instances that Viswabrahmin is proved legally  that they have equal stature as Brahmin, though it is mentioned in the Vedas clearly. 

Hence, we urge the author, Dr. MM Vinodini to remove the statement and unconditionally apologize Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmam garu and reprint the book if interested.  At the same time appreciate the great work done except this small biggest mistake. 

If those books are already sold/distributed to the public, Piblishing house should recall the books and provide them the corrected copy of the book.
