Dear President Kelly and FAU,

FAU has always been committed to the student body and stress reduction methods. A campus dog park would be a very beneficial addition to students and staff. FAU's Boca campus has a lot of open spaces. I always see students walking their dogs on campus, or merely sitting with their dogs studying outdoors. I have seen many students over the past semester train their dogs in the fields by the Glades road entrances to campus. The closest dog park is about 5 miles away, and I always see FAU students there. I also work on campus, and my colleagues and students I communicate with love the idea. During finals week FAU always introduces animals to students to reduce stress, so why not have a permanent dog park? Many students have pets and a dog park on campus will be very successful.
