I’m writing anonymously, but on the behalf of a good amount of students at NRHS. Who are having and expressing difficulty having Google Meets everyday. Here are just some examples. “It’s just ridiculous” says Tenth Grader Ileana. “I’m not learning all I learned this year is how to copy and paste” said another Sophomore, Julio. A lot of other teens are having trouble working; trying to provide for their families and managing going live on Google Meets everyday. Others cannot afford the luxury of a quiet, stable home to work in. The majority of students say it’s simply not good for their MENTAL HEALTH! I’m writing this petition in the hopes of Dr.Gill or staff at North Rockland High School will change this course of learning into something more productive & beneficial to the North Rockland students.
