Our city is in desperate need of an emergency warming shelter for our neighbors who are living outside this winter. This resource is critical as an emergency stop-gap as we figure out long-term solutions for making affordable housing available and creating more programs for supporting people who are wanting to get off the streets. The Colorado Springs Downtown Review Board will be hearing testimony in support of the proposed warming shelter on January 3.
