According to their website, "The STEMx™ network is a multi-state STEM network developed for states, by states. This grassroots movement provides an accessible platform to share, analyze and disseminate quality STEM education tools to transform education, expand the number of STEM teachers, increase student achievement in STEM and grow tomorrow’s innovators."

The state STEM leaders involved in this network meet annually at the STEMxchange to sit down, chat, and plan collective action.

As you can see, Minnesota is not on this list. With the increasing need for our youth to be educated in the growing fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, we believe that it would be extremely beneficial for our state's STEM leaders to consider making Minnesota a member of this network. We will be contacting Minnesota STEM Specialist Doug Paulson about this petition after receiving enough supporters. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!
