Horse riding facilities have huge expenses to pay during the winter months from hydro , grain, winter hay , vet/farrier costs just to name a few .

Without weekly lessons there is no income to support the horses that are kept for lessons , therapeutic riding / therapeutic handling.

Horse facilities took a huge hit the first lock down it has taken us months to try and slightly come back from spring / summer lost revenue.

Many stables have had to euthanize or rehome some of there lessons horses just to make ends meet.

Please take into consideration the future for the horses that need to be fed daily.

Stables have already taken extra precautions with keeping COVID 19 under control , indoor arenas are spacious very well ventilated and riders are more then 6 ft apart we have dropped group lessons to private lessons to ensure safety.

With this next lockdown I fear that this may be the end to many stables and horses will be in dire need .

Horses are not like cattle they have to work to generate income to be housed by riding facilities.

Each horse costs several hundred a month to care for without income it's not possible to do, riding facilities have already paid out there winters hay cost ranging from $5000 to $30000, horse bedding costs have been paid out winter brings higher hydro due to heated water bowls to prevent freezing so horses can have unlimited water we also pay out regularly maintenance to keeping horses.

Our horse industry begs you to omit horse facilities from the lockdown .

Please please � reconsider full lockdown on horse facilities.
