GTA West Corridor propose to run east-west, connecting 400 highway, north of Mejor Mackenzie, connected to highway 427, north of Mejor Mackenzie, connected to highway 410, north of Mayfield road and merge to 401 just before Milton. It is a ring road, diverting all the traffic from 401 and connecting Vaughan, Caledon, Brampton and all north of Caledon including Orangeville area. 

Province allowed Region to bring approximate 850,000 people in next 20-30 years into the Region of Peel only, we are in a traffic grid lock and additional 850,000 people and approximate 450,000 jobs will only worsen the traffic conditions, which we will have no solution for after 30 years. If we cancel the GTA west Corridor, it will cost us 6 Billion every year and to build the highway approximately 10-12 Billion. If we do not build, it will be a disaster to our economy and future generations. 

I heard various environmentalist lobbies against GTA West Corridor but the new highway will help move traffic, reduce traffic congestion and reduce emission by vehicle, Highway will allow us to move vehicle faster rather than be stuck in the traffic. It will be a great assets for the people and economy of the GTA, province of Ontario.

We request province to continue GTA West corridor environmental assessment (EA) and put the shovel on the ground as soon as possible.
