Buy back the 407 instead of building the 413!

Rather than spending billions building a controversial highway 413 at an unknown final cost in dollars and delivery dates and environmental impact, use that same money plus future tolls to buy back as much of the 407 as is possible.

For a known amount of money, known utility and known operational cost we could re-acquire the 407, which should never have been sold in the first place. 

Effective use of the 407 and reduced tolls there once it is repaid would greatly expedite traffic flow on the 401 and overall help Ontarians. 

We could achieve a very similar outcome to building the 413 but with immediate payback, immediate utility and price / budget certainty. There would be no incremental environmental impact, or change to anything - the road already exists!!

Urge all politicians and Ontarians to support buying back the 407 versus building the 413!
