The 2DS XL animal crossing special edition console has been released in Australia, the U.K., and Japan... but not the United States. There are countless of animal crossing fans who would love to purchase the adorable and beautifully designed product. Not having such an amazing console available for purchase in the US, is incredibly frustrating as purchasing the Japanese or Australian consoles are region locked. Releasing this special edition of the 2DS XL in the US is a great opportunity for Nintendo. Especially with the release of New Horizons on the way, this could be a good product for those who can’t currently afford the switch and the new game in the mean time. Or even for those who haven’t been familiar with the series previously, this would be a great and cheaper opportunity to be introduced into the series and will possibly be more inclined to purchase New Horizons shortly after. It would also add more to choose from of the very few colors that are currently available in the US of the 2DS XL. That being said, I’m sure Nintendo will greatly benefit by releasing this special edition of the 2DS XL for the United States and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way about this topic.
