The University of Toledo has recognized the global pandemic crisis that is upon us and has understood that their priority is to ensure the health and well-being of their students. Because of this, the University has already made summer classes online.

The students who study in groups and use classmates, teaching assistants, tutors at the tutoring center, and professors at their office hours for help and these resources will be limited, if entirely out of reach.

This is a pandemic on a scale that the world was not prepared for and we are all struggling in some sort of way dealing with all the changes occuring around us.

Students might be more worried more about how this might directly impact their loved ones rather than focusing all their energy on schoolwork. Online classes do not provide that same type of learning environment and experience.

Because of all of these reasons and more, students at the University of Toledo should not be punished for their hindered ability on any future assignments or exams. 

Therefore, we should strive to give students the option to make all their classes pass/fail this semester to help in continuing making their learning experience as smooth as possible given the circumstances.
