COVID-19 has changed the lives of every man, woman, and child on the planet. UV-Aid, a Therapeutic Treatment using Ultra-Violet A, (UVA) light has been on the market for 10 years, with millions of safe and effective applications in helping to prevent colds, and flu, according to an April 17, 2020 letter from the National Institutes of Health (NIH): "The UV-Aid device has a primary mechanism of action that is therapeutic since the premise is that the UV-A light inactivates enveloped viruses that may be in the ear, nose, or throat. While the second mechanism of action is activation of select immune cells" This game changing technology needs to be fast tracked by the White House Administration and/ or Congress in order to save countless lives and allow USA citizens to live without fear of COVID-19.

Here is how the technology works: COVID-19 is a virus encapsulated in a layer of lipid or fat cells making it more difficult for the immune system to identify and kill with its antigen presenting white blood cells, a key step in the production of antibodies. However, when it comes to UVA light, COVID-19's strength is its weakness. Lipid cells are extremely vulnerable to UVA rays. Exposing the pathways of the ear, nose, and throat to UVA light effectively weakens the virus through the process of peroxidation. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is also produced from UVA light via a second process called photo-oxidation. H2O2 is a known anti-bacterial and anti-viral compound. H2O2 also effectively activates and directs the immune system to the area of exposure, namely the nose and throat 's mucosal membrane areas. Finally, UVA light exposure immediately activates T cells which play a critical role in the development of antibodies.
