Pardon for John Kiriakou

Pardon for John Kiriakou
The Issue
Dear President Trump,
We are petitioning you for a full Presidential Pardon for John Kiriakou.
We are La Grande, Oregon high school students who live in conservative northeast Oregon. Over the last four years, our American Government classes have benefited from the outreach of former CIA agent John Kiriakou who was prosecuted by President Obama's Justice Department for being a whistleblower on America's program of Enhanced Interrogation (otherwise known as torture). We strongly believe the charges Mr. Kiriakou faced from the Obama Justice Department were unfair and that he is deserving of a full pardon.
Recently around 85 high school students sat in a tiny auditorium on a Skype call with Mr. John Kiriakou. Each student spent countless hours writing deep seeded questions for Mr. Kiriakou. As we sat and listened to Mr. Kiriakou speak about his life, it did not take long before we students decided to petition you give Mr. Kiriakou a Presidential Pardon.
We the students are here writing to you as a whole. John Kiriakou is an amazing man with a whole life ahead of him. Without a pardon for Mr. Kiriakou, he will never be able to do things he still has yet to complete. We ask that you consider a full pardon for Mr. Kiriakou.
