Hey America, as of today, we have a total of at least 10,000 cases of COVID-19 every day. Today, we have 142,856 new cases right now. You might be wondering, what can we do? Here's something we can do, we can wear a mask. It is not a Democrat thing, it is not a Republican thing, it is not a political statement. It is just a mask. That mask will decrease your chances of getting COVID-19 by 30-70%. America currently has 10.5 million cases. Worldwide is 52.3 million. America is kind of like a hotspot. If you can't get any masks, wear a scarf, bandana that covers your neck, nose, and mouth, or ask some friends or family if they made any masks to give out! Remember, if you want to help end this spread, it is in every mask you wear. The CDC recommends that you do NOT reuse your masks. Reusing your mask could potentially infect you with COVID-19. Please don't travel. If you are traveling, use private transportation. Like a car. Don't take public transportation because you don't know who has the virus and who doesn't. My uncle, around 30 years old, contracted the virus about 2 days ago. He may have been careless at the time, but he knows that he needs to quarantine for 14 days, not come in contact with anyone, and if he needs to go out, he would wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. This virus is not a trick, this is real life. I'm sorry to all the Karens out there who hate wearing masks, but I hope this petition succeeds so we can go back to our normal lives.
