The criminalization of marijuana has been an issue for decades now.  This has led to countless senses murders and police putting more manpower into burning down peaceful hardworking farmers plants then working on real cases to catch real criminals. Our government is ignorant to the medical use of marijuana and is wiping out small farmers everywhere.  This petition isn't just to federally legalize marijuana but to lower the cost of taxes, permits etc on small farmers. I personally suffer from pcos among other ailments and many times wish I could just go to the store and buy suppositories for the pain.  But I can't! Because it's illegal! Yep! Even a suppository with thc and cbd in it is unattainable! Open your eyes and realize how helpful this is to people instead of criminalizing it. It's 2020 and it's time to admit the truth.
