We the women of New Jersey, demand to exercise our Constitutional Rights to conceal carry. As women we come together to be able to utilize our Second Amendment right “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed” to be able to protect ourselves during an eminent threat. As proven by what the media continues to show coverage of and the out of control growing chaos such as rapes, burglary, riots and the like, law enforcement continues to prove they do not seem to have great control over a majority of circumstances. We have no confidence our law enforcement officials could arrive within the first five minutes of an attack and we value our lives and children’s lives. New Jersey women will no longer stand for this. Women need to be considered in this day and age and the sexism has to stop. New Jersey laws have failed us and the United States Constitution needs to supersede the laws of this area, because of failed politics and policies by failed elected officials that have turned on the American people’s rights. Also, the process to even obtain a firearms permit is out of control and over regulated. It does not make anything safer but prevents law abiding citizens from obtaining a permit. We will no longer stand for any more male chauvinist politicians refusing to allow us to exercise our Second Amendment rights as women especially when it comes to safe guarding our protection when law enforcement can not always be immediately available. The women of New Jersey want the right to exercise their Constitutional Rights as law abiding American Citizens to conceal carry for personal protection.
