The Trump administration just pulled the plug on a fully-approved offshore wind project that would power over half a million New York homes. Empire Wind was already under construction. It had been reviewed, approved, and set to provide clean energy starting in 2026. Now it’s been stopped without warning.

This isn’t about a rushed process. It’s about a pattern. From day one, Trump has targeted renewable energy - blocking permits, cancelling clean energy grants, and prioritizing fossil fuels at the cost of our climate and economy.
