We, students, families, educators, and alumni from Romania, Greece, Georgia and future countries participating in the FLEX Program urgently call on you to bring back the FLEX Program for the 2026–2027 academic year.

FLEX is a life-changing cultural exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State. Due to resource constraints, Romania, Greece, and Georgia were removed from the 2026–2027 cycle — and thousands of hopeful students lost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

We ask that you:

• Reconsider the cancellation;
• Explore new partnerships or scaled options;
• Provide clarity about the future of FLEX in our countries.                    We are the next generation of leaders, and FLEX gives us the tools to build bridges between our countries and the United States.
