This is an issue that affects all of us. Dollywood just purchased Kentucky Kingdom. The issue is, Dollywood hasn’t promised to bring their famous cinnamon rolls with them to the bluegrass state. The way I see it, if they own us now, we deserve these sweet, sugary swirls of heaven in the bluegrass state. 

These aren’t your grandma’s rolls. Well, they might be, if she works at Dollywood. Either way, they’re hand-made, the size of your head, and smell like a warm hug from the Pillsbury Doughboy. Governor Beshear said he hopes the new ownership will make Kentucky Kingdom an international destination. That simply is not possible if we don’t get these rolls. 

Richard Nixon once said, “The American dream does not come to those who fall asleep.” Fellow Kentuckians, we must not sleep on these cinnamon rolls.
