It has come to my attention, that DOLLARAMA has failed to provide protective gear for their employees.  No employee of any business should have to work in poor conditions.  We are currently in a state of emergency due to COVID 19.  There has been many essential workers however, continuing to show up to work everyday so that we have all the services and essentials that we need for ourselves and our families.  Many grocery stores and drug stores including medical, have taken safety measures to ensure their staff and customers are safe.  One of these measures is providing shields for employees to protect them while they come in contact with customers. I have noticed that many DOLLARAMA locations have been using clear wrapping paper as shields or Saran wrap.  I feel that this is a human rights violation.  Employees deserve to work in safe work environments especially during a pandemic. Shame on management and head office for failing to protect employees.  DOLLARAMA employees are currently working in unsafe work environments.  Please do your part and sign this petition and be sure to share it with all your family and friends.  People's lives depend on your signature.
