Dollar General is a amazing place to shop, find some great values and not feel guilty for buying a little something for the house or yourself. For most people in smaller communities Dollar General is the go to place. But (there is always a but) Dollar General has sales, clearance items and great things to stock up on. Most the time it's a guessing game how much an item really is. Is it on sale? Is it the price marked? Isn't it clearance? Most national ran companies have some sort of price checking machine in their stores, where you don't have to wait in line to figure out what the item/s cost. Most the time the stores has a hand held scanner on it's good days works..... Other wise the most common answer is to not check (scan it) and resite the printed price. With the way of the Internet people share good finds and deals but knowing that pricing is different in different areas it's a guessing game.
