I’m seeking your support to show Kingston City Council and DEECA that a self-service dog wash at Mentone Beach would be a real community benefit.

As a local resident and dog owner, I know many people who would welcome the convenience and practicality of this service.

The proposed unit (pictured) would be low-profile, environmentally friendly and attach to the existing toilet block. Giving dog owners:

• convenient way to rinse off sand and salt after beach visits
•  helps keep homes, cars, and public spaces cleaner.
• encourages responsible pet care
• adds value to one of our community’s most popular dog beaches.
