Doctors Lives Matter – Prisoners Lives Matter 

We, doctors of the world, are requesting the immediate release of Dr. Muhammad Abu Salamiyah, Director of Al ShifaHospital, Gaza, Palestine, along with several other senior doctors.  

Abu Salamiyah and his fellow doctors refused to leave at-risk patients in the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza despite the heavy shelling and death. He, together with other senior doctors, was arrested by Israeli forces on Thursday Nov 23, 2023 over claims that under his management the hospital served as a Hamas control center where terrorists operated.

Released prisoners confirmed that Abu Salamiyah, has been tortured to force him to confess about claimed military activity in the hospital.  They said that the Israelis have broken his hands and legs and they have forced him to kneel and walk on his hands and legs to inflict pain and to humiliate him. 

Although Israel has failed to substantiate its claims, even after besieging and invading the hospital, it is still holding its director under inhumane conditions and it is still torturing him.
