The owners of Beans Cafe and Bakery are not maintaining a welcoming environment for their customers. Including myself, many people are finding the owners disrespectful and disgusting. Beans Cafe and Bakery recently posted a photo of a donut on their Facebook page captioned: “Given some of the current cultural madness, we’ve decided to add a donut visual on the off chance you don’t know which restroom you belong in.” 

With this being one of the most disrespectful actions the owners have taken, this is not the first. When former President Obama was running for president, the owners ran an offensive contest containing vanilla and chocolate ice cream flavors. Pictures of the candidates were on a poster and buying a certain flavor of ice cream essentially meant that is who one supported in the election. 

I’m sure there are many other instances where the owners of Beans Cafe and Bakery have been disgusting and unprofessional. However, the instances above should make everyone aware that they do not welcome all their customers in their establishment. Please do not support Beans Cafe and Bakery for their disruptive and unprofessional actions.
