Governor Kaye Ivey, Senators and Congress Members of the State of Alabama, State of Alabama Pardons and Parole Board,

It is with great importance, urgency and concern that I send this message and begin this petition for signatures.  On July 1, 2023, the inmate site is showing a possible consideration date for parole for Jeffrey David Brown, AIS 0037221, so at some time during the month of July this meeting could take place.  Quite possibly one of the biggest insults to the family and friends of the VICTIM in this Case CC2015-003001, our friend, our family, Micheal Earl Reese.  You see, Michael was born on July 5, 1974, just a day after July 4, Independence Day, yet THE SAME WEEK OF THE DATE OF MICHAELS BIRTH, Your Board could quite possibly Parole Six Years into a 20 Year Plea Bargain Sentence.  

“Pastor Jeff”, Jeffrey David Brown and Cindy Reese Murdered Michael Reese on February 18, 2015.  The man that baptized Michael, preached to him weekly.  This man cheated on him with his wife, the so called choir director, preached at Michael's funeral and conspired to kill him so they could get Michael's Family Home, Insurance Money and be able to be TOGETHER In God’s Name would be considered for parole just a measly Six and One Half Years since his admission date of December 16, 2016. They had carried on an illicit affair behind Michael's back.  They plotted and planned every detail and had even approached two workers outside the Social Security Building in Birmingham to try to get them to kill him.  

Jeff Brown in the end took a plea deal to avoid a possible longer sentence to testify against his lover and Michael's Wife.  The plea deal was for a 20 Year Sentence … Not Life, like we have been subjected to … 20 Years … Michael's Niece and Nephew, both born after he was taken from us, are not even out of Elementary School YET!  They are still babies, but do not know the love of their Uncle Mike that would have been taking them to Disney World and the park and Every New Disney Movie there is!!!  They would have been so spoiled in his love and laughter.  They have been cheated from knowing their Uncle!!!  We have been cheated out of our friend and a measly Six Years later this Demon is being considered for release … Since “Pastor Jeff” is such a Man of God he should realize that Six is associated with Demons and Satan …  Y’all are considering the release of this vile existence of a man into the public again for him to pull a con on someone else and cheat with someone else’s wife and conspire to kill another man.  

It’s an insult to all of us that this would even come up this soon for us to have to even express our loss and try to fight this.  Six Years is an insult to a man that brought joy to so many.  That was full of love and life.  That had a smile that was so infectious and a laugh that was just as infectious.  This man could not hurt anyone and never did anything but try to help everyone he knew.  We have lost that part of us, it was robbed from us in one of the most disgusting ways, most selfish ways possible … Cheating and Conspiring to Execute Our Michael … These two were so absolved with themselves that they could not get a divorce, it might look bad in the community, so they denied their part in this murder of Our Michael.  But, Jeffery David Brown “Pastor Jeff” (a joke) admitted to his part in this and confessed in an open court what he did, testified under oath to his part and agreed to a 20 year sentence to avoid a possible of what I wish had been, a life sentence with death penalty for him.  He stood to gain in insurance from the murder through her, a house through her, a vehicle through her, Michael's wife … Michael's Life … It was pre planned to the disposal of the gun that was used, that he confessed to disposing of!  Michael's Blood was on Jeff's Bible in Jeff's Car!

Please DO NOT let this man out one day before the end of his 20 year sentence!  Especially only SIX Years into this sentence!  Please DO NOT Put SO LITTLE VALUE on Our Friends Life I Beg Of You.  He Deserves SO Much More … Please Consider This My Plea with Your Board … Please Do Not Let Jeffery David Brown, AIS#  00307221, co conspirator in the Manslaughter Plea Agreement taking the life of MICHAEL EARL REESE, Born July 5, 1974 and TAKEN From Us on February 18, 2015, loose to live his life and smile one day with his friends and family before his 20 year sentence is complete.  Again, please do not fall victim yet again of this con man that has conned so many in his life of serving God, the ultimate con and he will have to answer later, not to your board, but to Our Creator Himself for that con.
