DkIT is currently the only IoT in the country (Institute of Technology) that is not in a Technological University. DkIT is also the only IoT that is not even close to being even "TU Applicable".

The institute is under threat of losing out on millions of euro, future students and their overall college ranking status. 

The Dundalk Students' Union has launched this petition in correlation with our "A SU for TU" campaign. This is in hopes that the college may deliver us a TU before its too late and if it is too late, we want clarity on what direction the senior leadership is taking the college into as they are the ones who have left us here in the first place.

The TU effects every student that DkIT has had whether you are a past, present or future student..

We need to be given the opportunity to have our say. Students are the biggest stakeholders in this college and its time we had our voices heard!
